Michael O’Koomian

Founder and Managing Director

Michael O’Koomian is the Founder and Managing Director of MOK Advisors. He is responsible for the firm’s strategy and operations, and is closely involved with every client engagement. Michael has strong relatability to most entrepreneur or founder-led companies, having previously built, led and successfully exited his own personal companies. His unique prior experiences of investment banking, corporate strategic advisory and being a full-time business owner also differentiates himself from most other investment bankers or M&A advisory firms.

Michael began his professional career working in management consulting specializing in M&A and growth strategy engagements. At Citigroup, he worked in management for the top-ranked Americas Equity Research division, with exposure to various equity divisions including banking, equity capital markets and sales and trading.

Michael is a life-long wellness enthusiast and die-hard Boston sports fan. He resides in Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA with his wife and twins.

Tony Petrunin

Vice President

Tony is a Vice President at MOK Advisors. Tony has led close to $1 billion in public and private M&A transactions within the multi-unit retail space. Prior to his career in investment banking, Tony held various global and domestic corporate development roles at Yum! Brands, where he was tasked with improving store-level performance and growing unit counts through acquisitions and partnerships.

Tony holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of North Texas and a M.S. from Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University.

Justin Lundberg, Esq.


Justin was an associate at the Boston firm of Testa, Hurwitz and Thibeault, and the Manhattan firm of Proskauer Rose, LLP. Justin also owns several businesses and eventually left practicing law full time in order to pursue entrepreneurial interests. As a business owner, he has successfully bought and sold companies in diverse industries at different stages of growth and development, consistently adding value to their bottom lines. Justin has been a director on Boards of publicly traded companies and private companies, in both the Fitness and Cannabis space, successfully guiding them through liquidity and acquisition events.

Justin holds a J.D. from Suffolk University Law, and a M.S. from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Ethan Ambrosh


After completing his B.S. with a concentration in Finance at Babson College, Ethan Ambrosh recently joined MOK Advisors as an Analyst. Prior to this, Ethan was with MOK Advisors for two years, working as an M&A analyst intern, where he helped create financial models and materials for active and prospective businesses.

At home, Ethan loves cooking, working out, and spending time with his two brothers. He is a Boston sports fan, but has also continued his passion for soccer through the European team, Manchester United.
